Past, Present & Future
Following on from yesterday's post: The "flow of time" we experience as past, present and future is not the same as the "time" to which physicists refer. In the physics of spacetime, there are (at least) four dimensions, namely
3-dimensional space plus a 4th dimension called time. In this context, time is just a measurement, a 4th unit of measure like length, breadth and height. It appears there is no past, present or future implied in this mathematical model.
