The Illusion of Time

We remember the past and anticipate the future, but only the present actually exists. The human brain performs a conjuring trick, creating the illusion of time flowing from past to present to future. If the past no longer exists, then it follows that time travel to the past isn't possible. Time travel to the future isn't possible either because the future doesn't exist yet. Future events are not predetermined, we create our future as we go along.
