Space & Time Don't Exist

From Scientific American, June 2011: "Many physicists, such as Stephen Hawking of the University of Cambridge, think that relativity theory must give way to a deeper theory in which space and time do not exist." Author of the article Vlatko Vedral also makes the point that quantum mechanics, generally perceived to be the a theory of the microscopic, is proving to be relevant on the macroscopic scale as well.
