The Ascension Was Added Later

According to both the Codex Sinaiticus and the Codex Vaticanus, the Gospel of Mark ends with an empty tomb. There is no mention of resurrection and ascension, where Jesus appears to Mary and the disciples, and then ascends into heaven. This means verses 16:9 to 16:20 must be a later addition. Furthermore, in the Gospel of Luke, the words "...and carried up into heaven..." are missing from the end of verse 24:51. These words too were appended. There is no reference to the Ascension anywhere in the Gospels.
