Did Apes Devolve From Humans?

Is devolution possible? Can evolution go backwards? The answer is no, it can't go backwards, because evolution is change without direction. Some people believe man was created perfect, but that he is in decline, and that apes devolved from humans. Others think there is a divine or mystical plan for the ascendancy of Homo sapiens. However, like it or not, the body of physical evidence overwhelmingly supports Darwinian evolution, and it grows day by day.
