Paedophile Priests Drowned!

Imagine the newspaper headlines: Paedophile Priests Drowned! Could this ever really happen? Why would it happen? There's a very simple explanation. It would mean the Pope has read in his bible that Jesus recommended a punishment for men who abuse children: "But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea". - Matthew 18:6.

The ninth chapter of David Yallop's book The Power and the Glory (Carroll & Graf, New York, 2007) is an absolute shocker. Called "Beyond Belief", it tells of the Vatican's ongoing cover-up of sexual abuse of children by priests. Beneath a thin veneer of righteousness the Catholic Church hides its dark, evil secret. The cover-up has been going on for hundreds of years. Little bits and pieces of information appearing in the media recently are just the tip of the iceberg.

It is beyond belief to think the Vatican can get away with crimes like this. How is it possible? Why aren't they stopped? Is it because the Pope, his cardinals and his priests think they are divine? Read about delusions of grandeur in #The Pope Has No Clothes. They're all just humans like you, me and everyone else. Society's laws apply to them as well.
