Berlusconi the Antichrist
I suppose, if he had still been around, Ed McAteer1 would have been feeling breathless this week "...seeing prophecy unfold so rapidly and dramatically and wonderfully...". He would have been paging through his Bible to see exactly where it is prophesied that the USA attacks Libya with cruise missiles and jet fighters, and to work out what happens next.
Let me have a go at this: Gaddafi is obviously the king of the south. Obama must then be the king of the north. NATO is the ten-horned beast and Berlusconi is the mysterious and ephemeral Antichrist (Roman Dictator). The stage is set!
The beast with ten horns can't be the EU because that would be too many horns. Does NATO2 fit the bill? Although NATO now has 28 signatories, there were originally 12 founding members ie Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, the United Kingdom and the United States. But don't forget that Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg are essentially one country, as defined by the Benelux agreement. So that makes it 10. For "he who has understanding", here's the math: 12-3=9. 9+1=10. This can be verified using 666, the number of the beast: 6x6x6=216. 2+1+6=9. 9+1=10. QED.
I had to give considerable though to the identity of the Antichrist (Roman Dictator). There have been many previous candidates for the job including Napoleon, Mussolini, Hitler, George Bush Snr, George Bush Jnr, Pope John Paul II (he was critically wounded but recovered miraculously) and even Julian Assange. But Berlusconi3 is quite obviously the guy everybody has been waiting for. He's such a very bad guy and yet the Italians worship him. He is the most admired leader in the EU. He is immensely wealthy and powerful. He is believed to have Mafia connections. He admits to being an atheist. He is over seventy but is bedding eighteen-year-old girls (only the Antichrist could get away with that!!!). Finally, as we all know, he was wounded in the head but recovered, exactly as prophesied.
Great! Now it all makes sense:-
Daniel 11:40 - At the time of the end the king of the south shall attack him, but the king of north shall rush upon him like a whirlwind, with chariots and horsemen, and with many ships (carrying cruise missiles and jet fighters).
Revelation 13:1 - And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns (NATO).
Revelation 13:3 - And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed (Berlusconi).
