About Near Death Experiences

Studies have been made of the near death experience (NDE) and some interesting and compelling observations have been published. Many people believe NDE's are proof that humans have a spirit or soul which can exist outside the human body and can survive death.

But there is no scientific evidence to suggest that consciousness can exist without the human brain. Nor is there any evidence to show that when someone dies their spirit or soul or consciousness leaves the body and continues to exist in some other dimension. People who had NDE's clearly didn't actually die, so what they may claim to have experienced can have nothing to do with death.
