Is Consciousness Supernatural?

There is nothing miraculous about consciousness. After all, the one thing you can say for sure is: "I think, therefore I am". Humans, animals and plants all have a degree of consciousness. It's true that science can't yet explain exactly what consciousness is, but that doesn't change the fact that consciousness is a natural phenomenon. Like exoplanets , comets , fossils , electrons , quarks , DNA , neurons and so forth, sooner or later scientists will work it out. We really do not need a supernatural explanation!
