The Promise of Supersymmetry

From an article by John Baez and John Huerta in Scientific American (May 2011): "...imagine a strange universe with no time, only space...supersymmetry emerges naturally, providing a unified description of matter and forces". Well no, it's not a strange universe. I don't know about you, but I happen to live in a universe where time doesn't exist.
